Light on Features
Dropkick has only the features you need and leaves all the other distractions out. Add your tasks, sort your tasks, and get things done:
● Simple, efficient interface.
● Syncs over the internet to your iPhone with Dropkick for iPhone.
Heavy on Polish
Dropkick works so well you probably won’t even notice all of its refinements. That’s because it does exactly what you’d intuitively expect. Spend less time organizing your tasks and more time getting stuff done.
Simple, efficient, elegant task management.
Getting stuff done has never been this easy.
Basic use requires nothing more than choosing the files to rename, and then picking (from a pop-up menu) the type of changes to make: Find and Replace, Number Sequentially, Change Case, Add Prefix/Suffix, etc. An Advanced mode allows users to string together renaming commands to apply more than one operation per renaming activity.
In Name Mangler's interface, you'll see a "before and after" preview of the renaming task, so you can verify that what you think is going to happen is what's going to happen. You can even see previews of the content of files and images in a Quick Look window, just to make sure you've got the right files selected.
If you have a renaming task you do regularly, you can create a droplet, which is a small standalone application that stores a particular renaming task. When it's time to rename a batch of files, just drag and drop them onto the droplet, and you're done.
Finally, Name Mangler works equally well with both Finder and Path Finder; you can select files in either one, and have that selection populate the list of files to be renamed in Name Mangler.

Define a number of abbreviations and the full text (or picture) clippings (aka "snippets" that they represent, then watch the Mac expand them on the fly even as you continue typing.
Type a short abbreviation and have it expand to a word, a phrase, even several pages worth of text in the blink of an eye.
Expand your custom-defined shorthand: some words and phrases are both common and awkwardly long. Find yourself using the word "qualifications" a lot? With Typeit4me you could just type "quls". Similarly, "ue" could become "user experience", "infsy" could expand to "information systems", and so on.
Breeze through your email correspondence.
You'll find TypeIt4Me is a real boon if you write lots of emails. Once you get it up and running, you need never type your full name, address or email signature again. Common greetings, pleasantries and signoffs, too: "ds" could be "Dear Susan", while you could define "tyvmfye" to become "thank you very much for your email" and so on. "rrgbmch" could become "I've read your report and it's great, but I'd like you to make a couple of changes". You get the idea.
TypeIt4Me is not just great for short snippets, though - it will help you type those long messages with multiple paragraphs faster, too. It's particularly useful if you find yourself wearily writing very similar messages time and again to multiple individual recipients. With TypeIt4Me, you can write it just once then add it to your list of abbreviations so that it's available on tap as an expansion. No more repetitive brain strain injury for you!
Once you get used to this way of doing things, you'll honestly wonder how you ever coped without TypeIt4Me. It's the business.

In a first pass, Tembo shows results grouped by type. For each group, Tembo lists the top 10 matches. Often enough you will find the sought for file right there.
You may also drill down into individual groups. There you will find filters appropriate for the current context. The Messages group, for example, offers filters on author, recipient and subject.
Thus Tembo is much more than a file search tool. It works as an extension to Mail.app / iChat.app to locate messages. As extension to Safari to search browsing history and bookmarks, …
How should I use Tembo?
When you start Tembo, a new window opens. Start typing to initiate a search. Use the sidebar to configure the search: sort order, time frame and location.
Results are grouped by type. For each group, Tembo lists the top ten matches according to the sort order set in the sidebar. You may configure which groups are enabled and in what order they are shown from the Preferences window.
How can I see more results?
Click the arrow button on a group header to drill down into a that group. Tembo will list up to 2500 matches. Rather than have you scroll through the long list to find the desired result, Tembo provides filters to narrow down the list.
What filters are available?
Bookmarks: Type, URL Domain
Documents: File Type
Fonts: File Type
Images: Resolution, File Type
Messages: Subject, From, To
Movies: File Type, Codec
Music: Artist, File Type
PDF Documents: Author
Source Code: File Type
What can I do with search results?
● Double-click a file to open it.
● Hold the option key while double-clicking to send Tembo to the background
● Hit the space bar to get a QuickLook preview of the file
● Control-click or right-click to access the context menu
