Addition is a timed drill for kids practicing their addition facts. Students click numbers to solve equations. Adjust the level for harder problems, or for word-based addition. Children who need help can watch the dog jump along the number line to calculate the right answer.
This app makes addition fun. Kids try to achieve better, higher scores. Parents and teachers see that higher scores require quick, accurate answers.
The user experience is so simple, children know intuitively what to do: just enter your name, click Go and click the correct answers. The game is intended for children who know their numbers and have a basic understanding of how to add them. No other reading skills are needed. Addition's large numbers and buttons are accessible by kids with physical movement challenges.
For families or schools with multiple students, scores are saved per student, so kids can compete against their own previous scores, not someone else's.

In The ClueFinders’ 3rd Grade Adventures, children solve individual problems or sets of problems involving mathematics, logic, geography, science, reading, and language arts. Each of the program’s 24 activities builds on third graders’ growing abilities in abstract thinking, problem solving, and logical reasoning as well as on their avid interest in mystery and adventure. Numerous activities call on children to apply essential mathematics, reading, and language arts skills taught in the third grade classroom. Additional activities encourage children to review as well as broaden what they know in two key content areas ― geography and science. Children can play the game at any of four levels.
Deep within the Numerian rain forest, the ClueFinders―Joni, Santiago, Leslie, and Owen―have stumbled upon a mystery. The animals are disappearing. The goo is being polluted. And now, Joni’s Uncle Horace, a well-known scientist, has disappeared, just as he was about to shed some light on the strange happenings in the forest. The ClueFinders need your help. They have heard a legend about Mathra, a monster who was believed to have terrorized the inhabitants of ancient Numeria. The ClueFinders think that Mathra has returned and is responsible for the current troubles in the rain forest. They also believe that to solve the mystery, they will need to find the keys to the ancient Lost City. Rescuing Uncle Horace and the animals, stopping Mathra, and restoring order to the rain forest will take courage, patience, and many different types of skills. The ClueFinders are waiting for you. Are you ready to join them on their important mission?

In Thinkin’ Science, students enter the Super Secret Science StationTM and find an amazing world of science fun and discovery. With the Science Scouts leading the way, students conduct scientific experiments and solve exciting science challenges. Five fun and engaging Learning Environments - Fun Physics, Day and Night, Mystery Cave, Animal Tracking, and What Did You See? - invite exploration and mastery of fundamental science concepts. Thinkin’ Science covers many of the major Earth, life, and physical science topics in the kindergarten, first, and second grade curriculums. Young children are naturally interested in science: they love to examine objects and conduct experiments to see what happens. Thinkin’ Science gives students many opportunities to act on this natural curiosity. The program excites students’ interest in science and instructs them in the basics of the scientific method: hypothesis, experimentation, observation, and deduction. Students can also explore the Science Web, a child-friendly research and reference tool. Thinkin’ Science helps your students think like scientists! Thinkin’ Science offers hundreds of challenges. As each student learns and succeeds, Grow Slides advance automatically, offering more challenging problems. You can also set a Grow Slide manually to provide practice in specific topic areas. Our children will live and work in an Information Age that we can only imagine. As they master the basic skills of the three R’s, they must also develop a broader, higher-level set of thinking skills that will transfer to the content of the future. Given appropriate opportunities, the young mind is amazingly capable.
Edmark's Thinkin’ Things Collection 1: Toony the Loon’s Lagoon is designed to offer young students experiences with a variety of thinking skills: memory, critical thinking, problem solving, and creativity. Thinkin’ Things Collection 1 celebrates intellectual diversity. A student’s musical and rhythmic intelligence may shine when working with Toony the Loon and his xylophones, or visual and spatial intelligence in creating with BLOX, or logical and mathematical intelligence with the Fripple Guides and Feathered Friends. In areas that may not come as naturally to some children, Thinkin’ Things Collection 1 offers warm, friendly experiences in which self-confidence is built, exploration and creativity are fostered, and persistence is rewarded with success.
Thinkin’ Things Collection 1 also focuses attention on how students learn. Is a particular student more likely to remember what is seen or what is heard? How do they approach learning? Do they “guess and test?” Once something is “discovered,” do they use that information in another way to “see what happens?” Do they, for example, prefer to take Fripple orders at the door (both auditory and visual), on the phone (auditory only), or by mail (visual only)? Thinkin’ Things Collection 1 promotes learning in each student’s areas of strength while encouraging growth and building skills in other areas as well.
