Picture Hash is a new fun and entertaining way to see if your photographs have been modified. You can generate MD5 checksums of one photograph or a batch of all your photographs in JPEG or PNG format to be sure that your photographs are not modified from one computer to another. Great idea for comparing backups and making sure your pictures are not corrupted. Picture Hash does not write any data to your images, but will write a separate text file (when specified by user) that contains an MD5 hash code that can compare an original JPEG or PNG image to the real data that was inside of the file. Picture Hash for the Macintosh allows you to open larger images than our iPhone version such as images from your digital camera.
